Each of my prints is based on one of my original watercolor characters. Cleo is an adventurer, eager to explore the far corners of the earth. She has traveled to some distant places, but the other cats are sworn to keep her secrets from the humans. No matter where she goes, she always comes home, and brings back a new flower.
For the original, I used watercolor and gouache on smooth, hot-pressed, 140-lb. watercolor paper. For the final printing, I scan the original and manually adjust the digital image to make an exact color match. Each card is printed on high-quality, acid-free matte paper and archival inks. All art is hand-signed.
